Restaurants in this upscale area include the Fromagerie, Salt Creek Grille, and Barnacle Bill’s. You’ll find more entertainment and shopping options in Red Bank, which is nearby.
Rumson also has the Rumson Country Club, which includes tennis courts, an 18-hole golf course, as well as the Sea Bright Lawn Tennis and Cricket Club, which was founded in 1877, four years after tennis was first introduced in the US.
